The experience and success of our advertising and public relations efforts have yielded an outstanding reputation among our client and media representatives. Our relationships with our media partners have developed over the years to into a partnership approach to achieve the goals of our clients. Creasy Woolfolk Concepts continuously works with local broadcast, cable, print and on-line entities to learn of synergistic promotions and/or events on behalf of our clients that would prove beneficial in regards to additional air time, p.r. or brand building.
In the words of her clients, Cindy Creasy’s “got it all.”
Cindy’s professional experience in marketing and promotion spans 25 years, but her ability to dream up successful campaigns dates back to childhood. Her father challenged Cindy and her brothers to propose ever more clever ideas that would promote his radio station as well as clients who advertised on the station.
That competitive upbringing sharpened her pitches, whether to clients when she worked at an advertising agency in Houston, the New Orleans radio station she promoted, or the FOX network affiliate she helped establish and market. Since 1994, the select clients of Creasy Woolfolk Concepts have relied on her energy, vision and advice on how best to publicize their image or message.
Cindy has lived, played and (net)worked in Richmond for more than 20 years, earning the respect of people inside and outside her field. Clients Katy and Larry Brydon, owners of MacLaren Jewelers, say her reputation and connections are fabulous. “She evaluates a situation really quickly and well, and gets it right. She’s been our angel.”
Cindy also recently worked her magic with “Wicked,” the most successful, longest-running touring company show ever in Virginia’s capital city. Between March 8 and 28, 2010, more than 80,000 people attended 26 performances in Richmond’s Landmark Theater. The show grossed more than $4 million and propelled Broadway in Richmond past its season subscription goal. “It was a real collaborative effort, involving the venue and Jam Theatricals,” Cindy says, sharing credit.
Dolly Vogt, regional general manager of SMG, which runs the Landmark Theater, the Richmond Coliseum and CenterStage, sends that credit right back to Cindy. “She’s creative and has connections in the media, in marketing, in the region and in the business and even political community. She’s got it all,” Vogt says.
“Rarely does one have the opportunity to get to know, let alone work with, such a warm, caring and creative person as Cindy Creasy Woolfolk,” says Claire Shaffner, a Realtor with Re/Max Commonwealth and BNInsteins networking group colleague.
Cindy serves as publisher of The Business Networker, a monthly publication. She is a member and former vice president of the Network of Enterprising Women and her Business Network International group.
The marketing entrepreneur owns James River Trade Exchange, a professional barter company she started in 2004. A graduate of the mass communications/advertising program at Virginia Commonwealth University, Cindy is married to Dr. Royce W. Woolfolk Jr. and the mother of sons Royce Woodson and Nicholas.
